Patrick McCuaig D.C.
I had no idea what true health and wellness was until I received my first adjustment. I’ll never forget it. I felt better, I was more balanced, and it felt as though a huge weight had been taken off my shoulders. My body began to function better instantly. I realized then that chiropractic was about more than just back pain. That’s when I decided to be a chiropractor.
I began my pre-chiropractic education at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas where I received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After completing my study there, I was accepted at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
During my three years at Parker, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care in the Parker College Public Clinic. In addition to my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree, I also obtained bachelor’s degrees in both anatomy and health and wellness. After graduating in 2008 I returned to West Texas to establish a practice in Lubbock with my longtime friend, Dr. Justin McGuire.
My wife, Mandi, and I are the proud parents of four amazing kids: Paden, Malin, Kelen and Mace. Outside of work you will usually find us in the bleachers watching our kids do what they love and cheering them on every step of the way. When I have the time, I really enjoy backpacking with my dad in the mountains of New Mexico.
In order to maintain optimal health I need to make sure my nervous system is free of interference with regular chiropractic adjustments. Maintaining spinal health, along with proper nutrition and regular physical activity, allows my body to function at 100%, just the way God intended it.
I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went to the chiropractor for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over-communicate. Our practice members appreciate that.
I am passionate about helping people live a wellness lifestyle and how corrective chiropractic care helps them accomplish that. Our practice is first and foremost an educational facility and our objective is to change the way people in Lubbock think about their health. We want to make sure they understand what it means to be truly well.
Thanks for visiting our site. I hope it can be a source of hope and healing. If you have any questions, please call us!
